8. Hold the 1 MB, 4 MB, or 16 MB SIMM at a 30
degree angle and firmly push it into the
socket. Push the SIMM into the back of the
socket to fully seat it. Make sure the notch on
the SIMM lines up with the notch in the
socket. Then, rotate the SIMM so that it is
straight in the socket. You will feel and hear a
"click" when the SIMM snaps into place.

9. Replace the side cover.
When installing a SIMM in the SuperScript
1260N model (with the Network Interface
Card installed), follow the same procedures as
above.

of the SuperScript 1260N model without memory
module (SIMM) installed.
