Hard Drive Bay
Removing the Hard Drive Bay
1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this chapter.
2. Remove the front cover. See "Removing the Front Cover" on page 50.
3. Remove the fan board assembly. See "Removing a Fan Board Assembly" on page 62.
4. Disconnect the cables attached to the hard drive bay. There are four of them.
5. Remove the SCSI hard drives. See "Removing a SCSI Hard Drive" on page 26.
6. With a flat head screwdriver, press the two tabs inward on one side. Repeat this instruction for
the two tabs on the other side. The two tabs are noted by "A" in Figure 32.
