8. Connect USB-AP_NT on the Metropolix Backpack to USB socket on Metropolix (as shown below)
9. Take the 10-pin to 16-pin power ribbon cable (removed from the rear of Metropolix earlier) and
connect the 10-pin end to the 'POWER' connector on the Backpack. Then, select either the Long or
Short 10-pin to 10-pin ribbon cable and connect it to the 'MIDI-USB' connector.
10. Take the other end of 10-pin to 10-pin ribbon cable, and connect it to the MIDI-USB connector on
your Performance Case or Palette Case.
11. Now connect the 16-pin end of the Power ribbon cable to a header on your power board, ensuring
it's orientated correctly. Refer to the installation instructions if unsure.
IMPORTANT:
connect the power cable to the 'MIDI-USB'
connector. Despite the labelling and difference
in color, both use the same type of connector.
