Metropolix Solo
Metropolix can be mounted in a dedicated case (called a Metropolix Solo Kit) and converted into a
standalone sequencer (known as a Metropolix Solo), freeing it from the constraints of your eurorack
rig. This allows you to use it as a standalone, desktop MIDI and/or CV/Gate sequencer for
controlling desktop synths (such as Intellijel's Cascadia) or even sequencing DAWs.
The Metropolix Solo Kit provides power to Metropolix, and contains a USB-C jack for
MIDI-over-USB, as well as dedicated ⅛" TRS Type-A MIDI TRS In/Out/Thru jacks.
If you didn't purchase the pre-assembled Metropolix Solo, you can
the Metropolix Solo Kit
Metropolix connects to the Metropolix Solo Kit's TRS MIDI jacks via the i2C port, and the MIDI jacks
are enabled by default. All MIDI settings also work with the USB-C port on the Metropolix Solo Kit.
Metropolix Backpack
The Metropolix Backpack adds a 10-pin Intellijel Case MIDI connector to the rear of Metropolix,
allowing Metropolix to interface directly with the MIDI and USB ports on Intellijel Performance and
Palette cases.
When using the Metropolix Backpack, you can connect Metropolix directly to other MIDI hardware
or your Computer/DAW via your Intellijel Case Jacks.
