3.
Screw the aluminium standoff into Metropolix in place of the hex screw that you just removed.
4.
Locate the 6-pin 12C-CHAIN (blue) & 10-pin POWER (red) headers on the module (below left). On
the Metropolix Backpack, find the corresponding 6-pin I2C_UART (blue) & 10-pin POWER_OUT
(red) sockets (below right).
5.
Turn over the Metropolix Backpack to align the 6-pin & 10-pin sockets to match the headers. If
positioned correctly, the orientation of the words 'METROPOLIX BACKPACK' should match other
labels on Metropolix (eg. USB and BOOT). The 'POWER' header will be above the 'MIDI-USB'
header, and the standoff will line up with the bottom left hole in the PCB.
6.
Gently but firmly push the Backpack down onto the pins.
7.
Once seated correctly, take the lock washer and screw removed in Step 2. Slide the washer into the
gap between the standoff and the Backpack. Then, thread the screw through and screw it into the
standoff.
IMPORTANT:
excessive force. If the Backpack isn't
seated correctly or is hard to push
down - check the alignment is correct
and try again.
