Layout Tab
This tab allows you to:
Set the orientation for a print job
Set the page order
Set the number of pages per sheet
Choose Simplex or Duplex printing
By clicking the Advanced button, you have access to controls for setting:
Media size
Number of copies
Graphic preferences including color management, scaling, and font
substitution
Advanced printing features
PostScript options
Features such as resolution enhancement, header and trailer pages, and
input tray use
Paper/Quality Tab
This tab allows you to:
Select the paper source (if you have the optional lower feeder unit
installed)
Select the type of media
Select color or black-and-white printing
The Paper/Quality Tab also includes the Advanced button described in the
Layout Tab section above.
Features Tab
This tab allows you to:
Select print resolution
Set advanced graphic controls, such as rotation and halftone control
Set color controls and advanced color options
Set PostScript and PCL features
Using Job Retention options, check a proof before printing multiple copies
or set a password to hold a print job until you are at the printer, if an
optional hard disk is installed
Proof-then-print options are available only if you check the "hold job"
box.
