Open the misfeed-clearing guide for
the fuser unit, and then, while
checking the misfeed, pull the
jammed media down to remove it.

Close the misfeed-clearing guide for
the fuser unit.

Lower the two fuser unit levers.
Attention
Be sure to lower the two fuser unit
levers before closing the right
door. If the levers are not lowered,
the right door cannot be closed.

Close the right-side door.
If the optional lower feeder unit is installed, close the lower-right door.
Check the release lever to make sure the door is securely closed.
After the jam is cleared, opening and closing the door removes the media
jam message.
