page, making sure that the total amount is within the range that the printer
can fuse to the media.

SWOP CMYK. This sophisticated setting is used by graphic artists to
make sure the colors in their proofs match those that will be created by an
offset press.
If you are trying to simulate a SWOP device or the color data in your
file is specified in SWOP CMYK, make sure the simulation profile is
set to SWOP.
If you are not trying to simulate SWOP, make sure the simulation pro-
file is set to None or to whichever of the other choices is appropriate
for your job.

Other Color Problems. Most other color printing problems arise from color
management issues in the application that was used to create the job or
from which you are printing the job.
Check the application documentation for advice on color
management.

publishing software.
