The CNC press controller communications interface also allows the operator of the machine
to select the operator station that will be used, as well as the operator mode required to
control the movement of the machine with the PCSS. The operator also has the alibility to
select the type of guarding mode for each bend to be performed with the PCSS.
The PCSS is also able to send status of the current operation to the CNC press controller,
which may require operator input or where a fault or condition has occurred. This status or
condition of the machine operation can then be displayed on the CNC press controller for the
operator of the press brake to ensure the appropriate action is taken.
