for option 1. Note that the deactivation of this output may be delayed by up to 500ms via the

emergency stop option selection variable to 3 as described in

12.8.1
The operation of the door switches for the emergency stop option 8 is the same as used for
option 1. Further information on the connections for the AIO and the functionality for
emergency stop option 1 can be found in

The operation of the emergency stop channels for the emergency stop option 8 is the same

The auxiliary axis or emergency stop contactor is driven by a safety output on the PCSS unit,
(as shown in
requirements of the press brake. This ensures that should an emergency stop condition
occur, any associated press brake operation is disabled and that any control or movement of
the pressing beam is prevented.
When the PCSS is initially powered up and when certain conditions are met for normal
operation, this output is switched on, allowing all operational circuits for the press brake to
be enabled. In the event that an emergency stop condition arises, the auxiliary axis or
emergency stop contactor is switched off by the safety output on the PCSS. Once the
emergency stop condition causing this has been resolved then the output will automatically
be activated again.
