LS-CS-M-046
When this latched condition and the down enable condition are both set, then the down low
speed condition will be enabled or set.
Additional specific conditions for this down enable option are also required in order to control
the valve outputs correctly and are provided by inputs to the Kernel Software Interface (refer
Section
7). These conditions are listed below as well as being shown in the timing diagram.
•
Pre-Closing Ready – DO1 I/O channel 43
•
Pre-Pressing Ready – DO1 I/O channel 37
The MB1 or high speed solenoids are connected to safety output Y01 on the PCSS and
allows control of the these valves on the press brake. This output will be switched on and
the pressing beam can move down at high speed providing that:
•
The Pre-Closing Ready condition has been reset;
•
Down enable condition is set; and
•
Down low speed condition has not been enabled.
This output will then be switched off when down low speed is required.
The MB2 solenoids are connected to safety output Y02 on the PCSS and will be active
providing that:
•
The Pre-Closing Ready condition has been reset; and
•
Down enable condition is set.
The MB3 or prefill solenoids are connected to safety output Y04 on the PCSS. These valves
will be switched on under the following conditions and the pressing beam will then move
down in high speed.
•
The Pre-Pressing Ready condition has been set; and
•
Down low speed condition is also set.
The MB4 solenoids are connected to standard output Y12 and Y13 on the PCSS and will be
switched on under the following conditions and the pressing beam will then move down in
high speed.
•
The Pre-Pressing Ready condition has been reset; and
•
Down enable condition is set; or
•
The up command has been given.
The MB5 solenoids are connected to safety output Y05 on the PCSS and are enabled
whenever the down enable condition is set.
The MB6 or safety solenoids uses the safety output Y03 on the PCSS and will be enabled
whenever the down enable is set, or the up command has been received from the CNC press
controller after decompression.
