The MB3 or high speed solenoids are connected to safety output Y01 on the PCSS and will
initially be active providing that:
•
Down enable is set; and
•
Pre-Closing Ready is reset.
This output will then be switched off immediately at the end of decompression as received
from the CNC press controller.
The MB4 or safety solenoids use the safety output Y03 on the PCSS and will be enabled
whenever the down enable is set, or the up command has been received from the CNC press
controller after decompression.
The MB5 solenoids are connected to safety output Y04 on the PCSS and will be initially
switched on under the following conditions.
•
Down low speed is set; and
•
Pre-Pressing Ready is reset.
This output will then be switched off directly at the end of decompression as received from
the CNC press controller.
The MB6 solenoids are connected to safety output Y05 on the PCSS and are enabled when:
•
Down high speed is set; or
•
Pre-Pressing Ready is also set; or
•
The up command has been given.
The MB7 solenoids uses the standard outputs Y12 and Y13 on the PCSS and will be active
when down enable condition is active but will be switched off at the end of decompression as
received from the CNC press controller.
