HIGH SPEED SOLENOIDS

PROPORTIONAL ENABLE
To select down enable option 19 during the PCSS configuration, set the initial value for Down
Enable Option Selection Variable to 19 as described in
this option and all required outputs are initialised when the PCSS software is started.

The connections for this down enable option are as shown above in
AIO. The operation is the same as down enable option 3, with the only difference being in
the outputs provided. Additional outputs are provided for connection to high speed and prefill
valves as shown to allow current load to be divided across the two outputs available for high
speed and prefill valves.
Should the soft stop operation be enabled as described in
valves will be delayed in switching off until down movement comes to a complete stop. The
proportional enable output will switch off immediately and can be used to perform a controlled
decelerated stop.
