Remove the inner tie-rod nuts.
4.
Remove the steering post nut.

Remove the (2) nuts retaining the bearing plate.
6.
Carefully remove the steering post from the ATV.
7.
To reinstall, reverse steps 1 - 6. Torque all fasteners to
specification.

TIE ROD

Removal / Adjustment

Steering tie rods can be replaced by removing the rod-end castle
nut at the steering post and spindle.
Tighten inner and outer tie rod bolts and jam nuts to
specification
NOTE: See Chapter 2 for Toe Alignment procedure.
Inner / Outer Tie Rod Nut Torque
25 ft. lbs. (34 Nm)
Tie Rod Jam Nut Torque
12-14 ft. lbs. (17-19 Nm)
