Network

The Network sub menu allows you to view and set the switcher's IP address. See
for network setup.
DHCP: The available network connection modes are DHCP and Static. The default connection
mode is Static (DHCP turned off). The HS-4000's default IP address is 192.168.100.101.
IP Address: Tap to open a numeric keypad then manually enter the IP address if DHCP is
turned off (Static IP mode).
Network Mask: Tap to open a numeric keypad then manually enter the network mask if DHCP
is turned off.
On the numeric keypad, select Cancel to close the keypad without saving the changes made
and OK to save the IP address entered.
Network Def: resets network settings to factory defaults. Default settings are listed below.
 DHCP: Off
 IP Address: 192.168.100.101
 Network Mask: 255.255.255.0
Once all settings are entered, tap Save to save all changes made and reboot the device to
apply the new network settings.
Please note that you can also use a needle to push the reset hole next to the USB FW Upgrade
port to restore the default IP address. Push the reset button then hold for about 5 to 10
seconds until the machine reboots itself to restore the IP address to 192.168.100.101.

Software

This Software sub menu allows the user to perform a firmware upgrade when the USB storage
device containing the latest firmware file is inserted. Tap Upgrade to start the firmware
