node and chassis; then, take the component out of the package and place it on a static-protective
surface.
Procedure
Step 1.
If the drive backplane has not been installed yet, install it to the drive cage; then, reconnect all the
required cables to the drive backplane (see
"Install a drive backplane" on page
Step 2.
Install the drive cage assembly to the node.

Lower the cage into the node until all the screw holes are aligned.

Tighten the seven screws to secure the cage.
