Install a GPU air duct
Follow instructions in this section to install a GPU air duct.
About this task
To avoid potential danger, make sure to read and follow the safety information.
Attention:
• Read "Installation Guidelines" on page 41
you work safely.
• Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the
node and chassis; then, take the component out of the package and place it on a static-protective
surface.
Procedure
Step 1. Install the GPU air duct.
a. Align the GPU air duct with the guide pins on the edge of the fan cage. Lower and insert the
GPU air duct until it is securely seated in place.
b. Tighten the screw to secure the GPU air duct.
Notes:
• Manage the cables so the GPU air duct can be seated securely.
• Make sure that the standoffs are securely seated in the holes of the GPU air duct as illustrated.
