C. Connectors, Cables, and Pin Assignments
T1 Network Interface
The T1 network interface/connector is an RJ48C 8-position keyed modular jack.
T1 Network Cable (Feature No. 3100-F1-500)
Network access is via a 20-foot cable with an RJ48C unkeyed plug-type connector
on each end. The following table shows pin assignments and the purpose of each.
This cable comes with the DSU/CSU.
Canadian T1 Line Interface Cable (Feature No. 3100-F1-510)
The T1 line interface cable is used in Canada as an interface between the
DSU/CSU's network connector and the T1 network interface. The following shows
pin assignments and the purpose of each.
