Configuring your Matrox GatorEye
You can configure your Matrox GatorEye using Matrox Intellicam's feature
browser, or using the MIL MdigControlFeature() function.
Controlling the features of your Matrox GatorEye with
Matrox Intellicam
To control the GenICam-standard and extension features of your Matrox
GatorEye with Matrox Intellicam, perform the following:
1. Start Matrox Intellicam, by selecting the All Programs Matrox Imaging Tools
Matrox Intellicam menu command from the Windows Start menu.
2. Select the GigE Vision option from the drop-down list-box in the tool bar.
3. Create a new blank DCF file using the File New menu command. The New
Document dialog box opens.
4. Select the GigE Vision option and click on the OK button. The New DCF dialog
box opens.
Alternatively, you can open an existing GigE Vision DCF file using the File Open
menu command. A GigE Vision DCF file is available in
the \Program Files\Matrox Imaging\Drivers\mtxGigE folder.
5. On the Overview tab, select your camera from the drop-down list.
6. Click on the Feature browser tab

The description of each feature is given in the Feature Properties text box at the
bottom of the tab.
7. If required, modify the setting of a feature listed in the Feature browser tab, using
the presented edit field or drop-down list box.
1. Note that, if you have installed MIL 9.0 update 43 or 52, the Feature browser is an
icon on the tool bar and a menu option (specifically, the Digitizer Camera Features
option) rather than a tab.
