Description
Feature value
LineStart
LineTrig
TimernEnd
Performs a software reset of the rotary counter.
Selects the rotary counter.
The value of the rotary counter can be returned upon an event, specified using the EncoderLatchSource feature.
Alternatively, you can inquire the current value of the rotary counter at any point in time, using the EncoderValue
feature.
Note that if a rotary encoder is not connected, the counter will not increment.
Encoder1
Selects one-bit of the two-bit Gray code of the rotary encoder. To associate this bit with an auxiliary input line, use
the EncoderBitSource feature. The direction of the 32-bit internal counter is positive when, starting from 00, bit B
changes before bit A.
EncoderBitA
EncoderBitB
Returns or sets which auxiliary input line is carrying the selected bit of the two-bit Gray code. Select the bit using
the EncoderBitSelector feature.
Linen
Returns the value of the rotary counter.

Transport layer control

The transport layer control features relate to the control and monitoring of the
feature values necessary to access the GigE Vision bootstrap registers and other
information related to the GigE Vision transport medium. In most situations,
these registers are directly handled by the framework managing the transport layer
on your computer and are not directly visible (for example, deciding which UDP
port number to use for a stream channel).
Matrox GatorEye GenICam-extension features
Description
Specifies to use the line star t event. The event occurs at the start of the
grab of each row.
Specifies to use the signal routed on the Matrox GatorEye dedicated
trigger line.
Use the EncoderResetActivation feature to specify the change of state
on which to reset the rotary counter.
Specifies to use timern, where n is a value from 1 to 4, as the event
source. The event occurs when the specified general timer has reached
its maximum value. Note, to set the specified timer's maximum value
use the GenICam-standard TimerDuration feature.
Specifies that the first rotary encoder is selected. This is the default
value.
Specifies that bit A is selected.
Specifies that bit B is selected.
Specifies that the input line for the bit is Linen, where n is a value from 0
to 7. For more information relating to these lines, refer to the Digital I/O
and power connector subsection of the Matrox GatorEye connectors
section, in Appendix B: Technical Reference.
