Finding and naming your Matrox GatorEye

To find your Matrox GatorEye, perform the following:
1. Start MILConfig, using the All Programs Matrox Imaging MIL Control Center
menu command from the Windows Start menu. The Matrox Imaging
Library >> Control Center dialog box opens.
1. Under the Tools heading, click on the MILConfig configuration utility link. The
MILConfig dialog box opens.
2. Select the Boards GigE option from the tree structure.
3. From the presented pane on the right, select the Use Camera Discovery Service
option, if it is not already selected, and then click on the Launch Matrox GigE
Vision Discovery and Configuration Assistant button. The Matrox GigE Vision
Assistant dialog box opens.
4. Click on the Perform Discovery button. The Matrox GigE Vision discovery
operation searches your network for any GigE Vision cameras. Once complete,
your Matrox GatorEye camera(s) should be listed in the Camera Information tab
of the Matrox GigE Vision Assistant dialog box.
5. To name your camera, select it from the list of cameras. Type the name for your
camera in the User-defined name edit field. Then, click on the Apply changes
button.
6. Select the Exit menu command of this dialog box to close it. Close the MILConfig
utility and the Matrox Imaging Library >> Control Center dialog box by clicking
on their exit buttons.
