Increasing the air gap

7.2.3 Disassembly

NOTICE
The air gap must not exceed 1 mm
To check the air gap, the mover must be on the guide rail. The air
gap must not exceed 1 mm.
If the air gap is too large, the data transmission between the NCT
electronics on the mover and the motor modules may be dis-
turbed and the functions may not be executed correctly.
► Loosen set screw [1]

► Tighten set screw [1] on the opposite side accordingly
► Check the air gap
If the air gap is not yet set correctly:
► Loosen and tighten the set screws again
OR

► Reduce the air gap

► Loosen screws [1] on the connector of the cable bridge
► Pull off the connector [2] of the cable bridge from the NCT elec-
tronics [3]
