Contact with high temperature released operating fluids: fuel, lubricating oil, or coolant!
Risk of death or injury by scald.
u Before servicing the engine, let it cool down until surface temperature allows you to touch it
with bare hand.
u Wear proper personal protective equipment.
Consumables and equipment
Make sure that the following consumables and equipment are available:
– The required volume of fresh approved coolant
– A suitable drainage container
Draining off engine coolant

1 Coolant drain on tandem coolant pump
On each drain-off point:
u Place a container to collect the used coolant.
u Unscrew and remove plug or open valve.
