Automatic Mode
Step 1 Turn on the circuit breakers of the ATS operation mechanism (Q1 and Q2 in the
left lower part at the rear of the cabinet) to power on the ATS operation
mechanism.
Step 2 Check whether the 8D controller has alarms. If an alarm exists, rectify the fault
first.
Step 3 Press down the locking latch on the switch panel and pull out the handle.

If the handle is not pulled out, the automatic mode will be disabled.
Step 4 The Motor/Manual selection lever has been set to the Motor (

● Before powering on the ATS, operate the handle to switch on and off the ATS for one to
three times. Ensure that the primary and secondary contacts of the ATS work smoothly.
● Verify that the phase sequences of the two power inputs to the ATS are correct using a
phase sequence table.
