Ganging Worksurfaces
Any worksurface with a rectilinear edge may be ganged to another surface with a
rectilinear edge. There are two scenarios involved.
The first involves taking an already existing (installed) table, and ganging it to another,
or several.
The second involves installing from the beginning. In either scenario, it is important to
note, use only leveling glides to create a ganging application.
Scenario #1
STEP 1: With table in upright position, loosen screws on (2) table legs to be used to
gang to adjacent surface, Rotate table leg around 45 degrees.
STEP 2: Place ganging surface up to existing table and position top above exposed
ganging plate of legs. Align screw positions and secure.
Scenario #2
STEP 1: Assemble primary table by installing (2) fixed legs and (2) ganging legs
rotated at 45 degrees. (as per standard leg installation procedures with worksurfaces
on the floor upside down)
Invert table assembly exposing (2) legs with ganging plates
Assemble secondary table(s) by installing (2) remaining legs as per step 1 and invert,
position over primary table.
STEP 2: Place ganging surface up to existing table and position top above exposed
ganging plate of legs. Align screw positions and secure.
Repeat steps 1 through 2 to complete desired configuration. Level accordingly.
Rotate centre legs 45 degrees so that leg base
assembles to both tables.
