NOTE: Open and assemble only one product
at a time to avoid a potential mix-up of parts
and hardware.
It is adviseable to assemble the unit on a
carpet to avoid scratches.
Assembly
STEP 1: Unpack and inspect individual pieces for damages or missing hardware
STEP 2: Pick a clean unobstructed area to assemble desk. It is advisable to assembly
of this product upright.
STEP 3: Determine Left and right gables. Install levellers into T nuts provided on the
bottom of both gables.
a. Installing the Blum Connecter Screws on top and back edge. Each gable
will have 2 holes for each Blum connecter screw. Based on position of the
gable, use pre-drilled hole closest to the underside of the desk to insure
correct alignment with the Blum connectors on modesty panel and Worksurface.
STEP 4: Modesty panel. Install Blum Connecter screws in pre-drilled holes on top
edge of the Modesty.
a. Connect gables to Modesty panel by lining up Installed Blum connector
screws on the gables to the Blum connectors on the modesty panel.
Tighten Blum connectors ¼ turn, do not over tighten.
STEP 5: With the Worksurface laying upside down on the floor, Pick up chassis
assembly lining up Blum connecter screws to the Blum connectors installed on the
bottom of the surface. Tighten Blum connecter ¼ turn, do not over tighten.
STEP 6: Stand completed assembly upright and you are ready to install.
STEP 7: Using the provided #8 x ¾ wood screws, secure flat brackets to the underside
of adjoining surfaces. The half flat bracket is to be installed in the "cableway" opening
in the narrow gable. Install full flat bracket half way between front edge of surface
and the front edge of the half Gable.
a. Connecter bolt and nut will be used to gang narrow gable to narrow
gable of adjoining assembly using hex wrench.
