Feature Description and Operation Manual
To place an intercom call to a networked station
1. Lift the handset or press the [SPEAKER] button.
2. Dial station number or press the {NETDSS} button.
3. Await answer.

To place an intercom call
1. Lift the handset to receive ICM dial tone.
2. Dial the station number.
3. Await answer.
Conditions
1. A {NET DSS} button LED indicates the status of the associated station.
2. The LCD will display the caller's Name if Calling Name Identification Presentation
(CNIP) is enabled in the Networking parameters and the caller's Name is assigned in
their local iPECS system.
3. If no idle path is available over the Network, you will hear error tone.
4. Network Intercom calls always signal in the Tone ring mode and are not subject to
Intercom Caller Controlled ICM Signaling.
5. If a network failure occurs, the system will place an outside call using the Alternate
Speed Dial bin assigned in the Network Numbering Plan that corresponds to the called
user. Note this is not a Distributed Network call and thus features associated with
Networking such as Call Back, are not available.
6. Network Intercom calls are subject to the CO Call Restriction Timer.
