Export and import of device data

Different device data can be exported via the web user interface. They are exported in the appropriate format

depending on the application.

You will find the files in the Download folder of your computer.

Likewise, these files can also be imported back into the CP305 (except pdf).

Export as pdf

System Overview > System > Device Tools > Document Device

Export/Import as json file

System Overview > System > Device Tools > Export Backup

During import, the contents of the backup file are compared with the currently configured data. The values to

be adopted can be individually selected or deselected.

Export/Import as Excel file

Tools > Monitoring > Alarm Addresses (export without any setting options)

Tools > Device Management > Start Page (export without any setting options)

Tools > Device Management > Individual Texts

The Excel files created can be edited with the usual Excel tools. In the workbook, there is a separate "Help"

worksheet in which the structure and permitted contents of the cells are explained.

Expert mode: parameters can be easily set for CP305 using the Excel files ("Quick programming").

Recommended for experienced administrators only.
