Nanopure Life Science (UV/UF)
Note Do not install the ultrafilter until the Nanopure is ready for use. If
the unit sits for longer than 72 hours without use, it will become
contaminated and may affect product water quality.
Note The ultrafilter must be installed before the 0.2 micron filter. Refer to
"0.2 Micron Filter Replacement" under "Maintenance and Servicing" for
instructions on how to replace the 0.2 micron filter.
Remove the ultrafilter from its protective bag. Install the ultrafilter as
follows:
1. Open the front (right side) door and right side door.
2. Remove restraints (twist tie) from the three tubes.
3. Locate the metal bracket and separate the Velcro® strap.
4. Remove the cap on the top
side port of the ultrafilter
(make sure the bottom cap
on the bottom side port is
secure). Insert side ports
into the holes in the metal
bracket.
5. Align the ultrafilter with
the metal bracket (side
ports should face the back
of the unit) and push the
bottom fitting
tightly into the
bottom connector.
6. Push the top fitting
of the ultrafilter into
the top connector,
making sure the
connection is tight.
7. Secure the ultrafilter
with the velcro strap.
