The fog lamp lamp bulb is fixed in the bulb

holder and the bulb and bulb holder
assembly must be replaced.
Replace the burnt-out bulb with a new bulb
8
of the same type.
Press the bulb holder into the lantern and
9
turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
Make sure that the lampholder is correctly
10
fixed to the lantern.
Fitting the power connector

must engage audibly.
Refit the wheel housing liner so that the

clip inside fits.
Replace the fixing screws

be replaced by a Volkswagen Dealer or a
specialised company in order to avoid damage
to the vehicle.
In the case of the fog lamp with daytime
running light with LED technology, it is not

ealer or a specialised company

Open the rear cover

To open the light cover, turn the lock to open it.

Open the cover together with the lock to the

Loosen the thumbscrew

Carefully remove the bulb holder.

To remove burnt-out bulbs, press the bulb

against the housing and turn it
counterclockwise.
Replace the burnt-out bulb with a new bulb

of the same type.
To insert new bulbs into the lamp holder,

insert the new bulb into the bulb socket.
Press the bulb in and turn it clockwise until
the bulb is in the socket.
