RDS radio data system
RDS (Radio Data System) is a radio data system
via the additional FM services, which enables the
display of station names and radio text.
RDS is not found on all equipment and is not
available everywhere, nor on all FM stations.
RDS can be deactivated in the FM Settings
menu, depending on the country and device
p. 192.
Without RDS, it is basically impossible to obtain ser-
additional vices.
Radio text (RDS)
Some RDS-capable stations additionally
transmit text information - so-called radio
texts.
The radio texts are shown in the upper half of
the display above the station keys.

In the RADIO main menu, the stations of the
currently selected frequency band can be stored
in 15 numbered frequency bands. These
function areas are called "Station keys".

the access keys , and can be changed via the
