aerodynamic resistance , your vehicle
unnecessarily consumes more fuel. Therefore,
remove the roof rack cross members when they
are no longer in use.
The load carried on the roof must be
securely fastened. The transport of cargo

Driving with a trailer
Introduction to the topic
Observe country-specific regulations for driving
with a trailer and for the use of a towing
device.
As a rule, the vehicle was developed for the
transport of persons and can be used to pull a
trailer, provided that this is done with the
appropriate technical equipment. This additional
maximum towable weight influences the
strength, fuel consumption and performance of
the vehicle and may, under certain conditions,
shorten the maintenance intervals.
Driving with a trailer puts more strain on the
vehicle and, in turn, requires more
concentration from the driver.
Vehicles with Start-Stop system
Before driving with the trailer, deactivate the
Start-Stop system manually by means of the
Start-Stop button.
