Synchronising and connecting the
mobile phone to the radio

In order to be able to operate the mobile phone
via the radio, the mobile phone must be
synchronised with the radio once.
The linkage must be made with the vehicle
stationary.
Premises
– The ignition is switched on.
– If necessary, disconnect the connected
headset from the mobile phone.
Bluetooth®

function must be active and
visible on the phone and the device.
– The key lock on the mobile phone must be
deactivated.
Observe the instruction manual of the mobile
phone.
During the pairing process, it is necessary to
make entries on the keypad of the mobile phone.
The mobile phone must be prepared for this.
Initiate mobile phone pairing
– Press the
key.
PHONE
– Touch the
function button .
Find Phone
When the process is closed, the names of the
Bluetooth®
devices found are shown on the
display.
– Access the mobile phone in the list of
Bluetooth®
devices found.
This connects the radio and the mobile phone.
To complete the connection of the two devices,
it may be necessary to make further entries on
the mobile phone and the radio.

After successful pairing, the PHONE main menu
and the phonebook are displayed and the call
and SMS lists stored in the mobile phone are
automatically loaded. If necessary, the mobile
phone must be confirmed.
The duration of the charging process depends
on the amount of data stored in the mobile
phone. After the charging process is completed,
the radio data will be available.
Pairing and connecting mobile phones
Multiple mobile phones can be paired to the
radio, although only up to 2 handsets can be
connected to the device at the same time.
When the device is switched on, a connection is
automatically made to the last connected mobile
phones. If it is not possible to establish a
connection with these mobile phones, the
phone control automatically attempts to make a
connection with the next mobile phone in the
list of paired devices.
The maximum range of a
connection is approximately 10 metres (11
Bluetooth®
yards). Existing
interrupted if this distance is exceeded. The
connection is automatically re-established as
soon as the device is within the
range.
