refuelled with fuel other than that specified,
the engine should be driven at medium
engine speeds and with lower demand. Avoid
high engine speeds and high engine
demands, otherwise the engine may be
damaged! Refuel with the recommended
petrol as soon as possible.
● A single filler with leaded petrol or other
metallic additives (e.g., leaded gasoline) is
sufficient to reduce the effectiveness of the
catalyst and cause significant damage to the
catalytic converter.

Before refuelling, always switch off the engine,
switch off the ignition and the mobile phone,
and keep them switched off during refuelling.

Open the fuel tank filler cap
– Unlock the vehicle with the vehicle key or
press the central locking button.

filler flap outwards.
– Remove the fuel filler flap by turning it
anticlockwise and fit it into the holder on the
fuel filler flap
Supply
The correct fuel type for the vehicle is indicated
on a sticker on the inside of the fuel tank door

– The fuel tank is full when the nozzle first
cuts off the fuel supply
– Do not load after switching off! Occupying
the expansion space in the fuel tank can
cause the fuel to overflow, even when heated.
Close the fuel filler cap.
– Screw the fuel filler cap clockwise onto the
filler neck until you hear it lock.
– Close the fuel filler flap. The fuel filler flap
must be aligned with the bodywork.
Stop refuelling when the fuel pump is
switched off for the first time. The fuel tank
must not be refuelled excessively. This can
cause fuel to spill or splash out. This can cause
explosions, fires and serious injuries.
