You can enable a modem in the Connect IT and configure the modem to enable gateways and network
interfaces.
Configure the modem
You can configure the modem in the Connect IT.

Log in to the Connect IT web
2. Click Configuration in the left pane.
3. Expand the Modem section.
4. Configure the settings.

Description
Expand the IPv6 Addresses section to add IPv6 addresses or
networks from which this serial port can be accessed. Click
Add to add an address.
Expand the Interfaces section to add network interfaces from
which this serial port can be accessed. Click Add to add an
interface.
Expand the Zones section to add firewall zones from which
this serial port can be accessed. Click Add to add a zone.

Select Enable to enable the network interface.

Modem: The address is determined by the cellular

The firewall zone assigned to this network interface. This can
be used by packet filtering rules and access control lists to
restrict network traffic on this interface.
