8.1

USINGDETERGENTS

The device is equipped with an automatic descaler dispensing system to remove limescale deposits from the
inside parts such as the washing nozzles, integrated steam generator heating element and solenoid valves.
As well as the descaler pump, a liquid detergent dispensing pump is also available for even better washing
results.
1. Pump P1 (optional): dispensing of alkaline liquid detergent
2. Pump P2: dispensing of acid descaler

Check the levels of product in the jerry cans / bottles regularly to ensure that programs are not
performed without descaler or detergent.
During installation, or when a completely empty jerry can of product is replaced, run the SERVICE
program with the device empty to prime the system with liquid. The hose running from the chemical
agent jerry can to the upper tank must be primed to ensure that the product is dispensed properly in
subsequent wash cycles.
8.1.1 LIQUID SUCTION SYSTEM – REPLACING AN EMPTY JERRY CAN
Each peristaltic pump is complete with a chemical product suction system.
The suction system comprises:
1. Intake nozzle, consisting of stiff plastic part with integral level sensor and tapered rubber support to
fit firmly onto the jerry can outlet.
2. Detergent intake filter, fitted directly on the suction nozzle pipe.
3. Chemical-resistant rubber hose for connection between suction nozzle and peristaltic pump.
