POWER UNIT
CYLINDER / CRANKSHAFT / PISTON
Reassembly
Assembly is reverse order of disassembly with special atten­
tion to the following steps.
IACAUTION
1
lf original components are not replaced, each piston,
piston pin and conrod is to be assembled and installed
in its original order and position.
PISTON TO CONROD
1. Apply engine oil to pistan pin
(2),
pistan pin bore and con­
rod
@.
2. Fit conrod @ to pistan
CD
as shown in figure and insert
pistan pin
(2)
through pistan and conrod.
3. lnstall piston pin circlips @.
NOTE:
• Make
sure conrod is installed in direction as shown in fig­
ure.
• Circlip should be installed with gap facing either up or
down as shown in figure.
IACAUTION
1
Do not reuse circlip once removed. Always use a new
circlip.
