CAUTION
Flywheel bolt is a left hand
thread.
Crankshaft
,. Clean flywheel and crankshaft mating
surtaces with cleaning solvent.
REMOVAL
Prior to removing flywheel:
• Oisconnect battery cables from battery.
1. Remove flywheel cover.
2. Loosen flywheel bolt 2 - 3 turns to right direction.
IACAUTION
1
Flywheel bolt is a left hand (LH) thread.

NOTE:
Do not remove flywheel bolt at this time. This bolt prevents
damage to crankshaft when using flywheel remover tools.
