Removal
Prior to thls servlce work:
• Remove power unit. (See page 6-5 to 6-10)

Crankshaft / Orive gear
2 Driven gear / Timing sprocket
3 Timing chain
4 Timing chain guide
5 Timing chain tensioner
6 Timing chain tensioner adjuster
7 Oil pump drive sprocket
8 Exhaust camshaft and timing sprocket
9 lntake camshaft and timing sprocket
1. Turn crankshaft in its normal running direction
direc­
tion) until No. 1 cylinder reaches top dead center.
NOTE:
To bring No. 1 cylinder to top dead center, turn crankshaft to
locate match mark (key) @ position at the top as shown in
figure.

CAUTION
1
When timlng chaln has been removed, never turn crank­
shaft or camshaft.
