37.1

On-board Location EOL Resistor Value

• Address: 1026
• Default: 5 (Tamper-wired loops, single tamper-wired zone)
• Selections:
• 0 = No EOL Resistor
• 1 = 1 k EOL Resistor
• 2 = 2.2 k EOL Resistor
• 3 = 3.65 k EOL Resistor
• 4 = Zone Doubled, 2.2 k & 3.65 k EOL Resistors
• 5 = Tamper-wired loops, single tamper-wired zone
• 6 = Tamper-wired loops, multiple tamper-wired zones (up to 5 max)
If "No EOL Resistor" (0), "Zone Doubled" (4), or "Tamper-wired loops" (5 or 6) is selected for this parameter, see
Section 36.6.3 on page 100 for appropriate trouble response selections.
37.1.1
Parameter Description
This parameter applies to the panel's eight on-board sensor loops.
If zone doubling is turned on, the locations are paired (see Table 25).
For tamper-wired zones, select either Option 5 (single tamper-wired zone), or Option 6 (multiple tamper-wired zones).
• Tamper-wired Loops, Single Tamper-wired Zone: Up to one contact with a 2.2 k EOL resistor in series to the tampered
loop can be connected.
• Tamper-wired Loops, Multiple Tamper-wired Zones: Up to 5 contacts, each with a 2.2 k EOL resistor in series to the
tampered loop, can be connected. Opening any contact creates an alarm. If this option is selected, the panel raises the
threshold used to determine an open condition to approximately 16 k Ω.
