25.17 AC Fail Report Delay
• Address: 0242-0243
• Default: 7, 8 (120 minutes)
• Selections: 0,0 to 15,15 (0-255 minutes)
25.17.1 Parameter Description
Use this parameter to set the number of minutes (0-255) the panel waits before sending an AC Failure report when an AC
Failure is detected. If this parameter is set to 0 (zero), there is no delay and the report is sent immediately. If the AC Failure
condition still exists at the end of the delay period, it is logged and the report is sent. If programmed, the AC Failure output
function activates when the event is logged. If AC is restored before the delay period ends, the event is not logged and the
report is not sent. If AC restoral reports are enabled, the reports are only sent if an AC Failure report has been sent. The
restoral report is sent without delay.
Addresses 0242 and 0243 must be programmed when setting the AC Fail Report Delay. The system multiplies the entry made
in Address 0242 by 16 and adds it to the entry made in Address 0243. For example, to set the AC Fail Report Delay time to 50
minutes, you would enter "3" in Address 0242 (3 x 16 = 48) and then enter "2" in Address 0243 (48 + 2 = 50). Use the formula
below to calculate the delay time for this parameter.
(Address 0242)
See below for commonly used time settings.
• 0,10 = 10 minutes (0 x 16 = 0 + 10 = 10 minutes)
• 1,14 = 30 minutes (1 x 16 = 0 + 14 = 30 minutes)
• 2,13 = 45 minutes (2 x 16 = 0 + 13 = 45 minutes)
• 3,12 = 60 minutes (3 x 16 = 0 + 12 = 60 minutes)
• 5,10 = 90 minutes (5 x 16 = 0 + 10 = 90 minutes)
• 7,8 = 120 minutes (7 x 16 = 0 + 8 = 120 minutes)
