5.7 INSPECTION OF SHIELDS

Shields protect the trailer user's health
and life and the machine subassemblies
against damage. Therefore, their technical
condition must be checked before using
the trailer. Any damaged or lost compo-
nents must be repaired or replaced.
• Check completeness of protective

Do NOT use the trailer with damaged or incomplete
shields.

mounted. Check if the side under-run
protection devices and the rear beam
are in good technical condition, check
condition of mud flaps
• Check if wheel caps are complete.
• If necessary, tighten the bolt connec-
tions fixing the shields.
