Drawbar eye positions: I, II, III, IV
Position of trailer drawbar eye depends on
the type of agricultural tractor hitch. If pos-
sible, we recommend adjusting the tractor
hitch so that the platform of the trailer con-
nected to the tractor is positioned parallel
to the ground. If the tractor hitch cannot be
adjusted, adjust position of trailer drawbar
eye with regard to the drawbar faceplate
(2) – Figure (6.6).

ATTENTION
Proper adjustment of the drawbar eye position signif-
icantly facilitates trailer hitching.
After adjustment, the drawbar should be in a hori-
zontal position.
During the adjustment, take special care due to
the significant weight of the drawbar and the risk of
crushing limbs.
SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES
• Immobilise trailer with parking brake.
• Place chocks under the trailer wheels.
• Unscrew drawbar eye (1) from face-
plate (2).
• Set the drawbar eye in its new po-
sition and tighten with bolts (3) using
appropriate torque.
The faceplate design (2) allows
4 possible drawbar eye posi-
tions - Figure (6.6).
Drawbar eye tightening should
be checked according to the
schedule defined by the Manu-
facturer as described in section
5.19.
