3. Discover (identify) the newly connected sensor head in one of the following
ways.
◦ If using a converter box with a display, select DIS.
◦ In the Infra600 software, click Discover.
◦ Issue the 1-wire search UPP command as presented in
the Universal Pyrometer Protocols (UPP) Commands"
Once discovered, the sensor head will then be ready for use.

Connecting Input Power to the Unit

Power your Impac pyrometer either by connecting it to a PC via USB or by
connecting it to a separate power supply. AE offers a variety of power supplies
that are compatible with your Impac pyrometer.

Important
Use only one power connection (micro USB or separate power supply) when
operating the Impac pyrometer or it might lead to communication problems.
For the analog box and multi-analog box, the micro USB connection can only
be used for parameterization. For temperature measurement, use a separate power
supply connection.
For the converter box, either power connection can be used for both parameterization
or temperature measurement.
The multi-sensor box does not require separate input power.

When using an analog box, the newly connected sensor head is
