TO CONNECT THE SENSOR CABLE
1. Open the feedthrough by removing the clamp screw, washer, and O-ring from
the feedthrough.
2. Feed the cable through the clamp screw, washer, and O-ring.
3. Slide the cable wires and end sleeves into the feedthrough, and then connect the
wires to the terminal block (corresponding to marked colors).
◦ The brown wire connects to the top pin of the terminal block.
◦ The black wire connects to the middle pin of the terminal block.
◦ The blue wire connects to the bottom pin of the terminal block.
4. Place the cable end into the feedthrough (making sure that the shield has
contact with the housing), and then slide the O-ring and washer into the
feedthrough.
5. Close the feedthrough by replacing the clamp screw.
The following figure shows a sensor cable connected to a converter box.

Connecting the Sensor Head

All sensor heads connect to a sensor cable using a 3-pin connector.
TO CONNECT THE SENSOR HEAD
1. Align the pins and connect the M8 connector (male socket) of the sensor head
to the M8 connector (female socket) of the sensor cable.
2. Tighten the screw nuts to secure the sensor head to the sensor cable.
