Route two separate ground wires in the cable: one ground wire for the voltage
signals and one ground wire for the current signals. Both ground wires need to
be connected to the ground clamp of the multi-analog box.
On the PLC inputs side, either galvanically separate the voltage input module
and the current input module, or connect all of the signals to different inputs
on at least one of the modules. The differential inputs need to be > 100 kΩ for
sufficiently high resistance.

FIRST TIME OPERATION

First time operation depends on your application, pyrometer model, accessories, and
the communications being used.
To Operate the Pyrometer for the First Time
1. Install the Impac pyrometer according to the installation procedures in this user
manual.
Once connected to the power supply, the pyrometer is ready for immediate use.
When the pyrometer is powered on, if it has a display it shows the temperatures
measured by the sensor heads and the basic settings for the converter box
(digital output and analog output).
2. If applicable, install the Infra600 software.
3. If applicable, assign a unique address to the converter box.
4. If applicable, assign a unique address to each sensor head.
5. Verify that temperature measurements are being received from the pyrometer.
