You can set up the Device Address Book using the Embedded Web Server. The Address Book can contain up to
5000 contacts that you can access when you enter recipients or destinations using apps.
To add or edit contacts in the Device Address Book from the control panel:
Note: Before you can use this feature, the system administrator must enable Create/Edit Contact from Touch
Screen for All Users.
1. Load your original documents.
2. At the printer control panel, press the H H o o m m e e button.
3. Touch E E m m a a i i l l .
4. To clear previous App settings, touch R R e e s s e e t t .
5. Touch M M a a n n u u a a l l E E n n t t r r y y . To enter an email address, use the touch screen keypad.
6. To add the recipient to the Device Address Book, touch the A A d d d d r r e e s s s s B B o o o o k k icon.
7. Do one of the following steps.
• To create an entry, touch C C r r e e a a t t e e N N e e w w C C o o n n t t a a c c t t . To enter contact details, touch a field, then use the touch
screen keypad. Touch O O K K .
• To add to an existing entry, touch A A d d d d t t o o E E x x i i s s t t i i n n g g C C o o n n t t a a c c t t . In the list, touch a contact. To find a contact,
touch S S e e a a r r c c h h .
8. To mark a recipient to appear as a favorite option, touch the S S t t a a r r icon.
9. Adjust the email settings as needed.
10. To start the scan, touch S S e e n n d d .
11. To return to the Home screen, press the H H o o m m e e button.
