10.2 POWER
This equipment is classified as Class 1, with type BF Applied Parts.
It is designed to comply with the requirements of the Safety Standard
EN60601-l (90), including amendment 1 (91) and ,m1endment 2 (95) and
EMC Standard EN 60601-1-2, with the exception of immunity clause
36.202.5 "Surges."
The Magstim Rapid=' System and its accessories are classified as IPXO
(Not Protected), as there is no specialised protection provided against the
ingress of liquids.
Not Protected. Therefore, the Magstim Rapid 2 System and its accessories
are not suitable fix use in the presence of a f1mmnable anaesthetic mixture
with air. oxygen or nitrous oxide.

The Magstim Rapid 2 System should not be used adjacent to, or stacked
with, other equipment and that if adjacent or stacked use is necessary, the
equipment should be observed to verify nonnal operation in the
configuration in which it will be used.
The Magstim Rapid 2 System need5 special precautions regarding EMC and
needs to be installed and put into service according to the EMC
infonnation provided in Section l l of this Operating Manual. NB. When
the system is exposed to radiated RF between 80MHz ,md 100MHz, or
conducted RF between 30MHz and 80MHz, when used with Coil Adapter
P/N 3110-00 and Cooled Coil P/N 3380-00 system errors may occur.

To avoid interference problems the Magstim Rapid 2 System, and its
accessories, should not be used in the vicinity of any equipment that does
not comply with EMC Standard EN 6060 l- l-2, including portable and
mobile RF communications equipment, such as mobile phones.
The use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified by
the Magstim Comp,my Ltd., may result in increased emissions, or
decreased immunity of the equipment. In order to ensure EMC
compliance, the Magstim Rapid 2 System must be used only with those
parts specified by the Magstim Company Ltd. for use with the Magstim
Rapid
