    MOP16-EN-02 Preface The Magstim ® Rapid Therapy System is a medical device that delivers non-invasive, magnetic stimulation.     At ~30 cm from the face of the treatment coil, the peak magnetic field is sufficiently diminished to allow for the safe use of many electronic devices, however, this may vary between implanted devices and should be investigated before treatment. The Magstim ® Company Ltd.

Across 29 published articles of randomized, sham-controlled studies of the Magstim Rapid Therapy System in the treatment of depression, in approximately 800 treated patients, the most frequent adverse events were headache (104 events) and pain at the application site (69 events).

    If the touch screen is not behaving as expected, the screen may need re-calibrating. To do this: 1. Navigate to the “Options Menu” screen. 2.     Any attempt to remove the securing screws will invalidate the product guarantee. All servicing and repair work must be carried out by Magstim ® or an authorized Service Repair centre designated by the company.
