To change the network settings, proceed as follows:
1.
Enter your new settings in the 'Configuration' column.
2.
Click on [Apply and Reboot].
ð The settings are adopted, transferred to the CPU and the CPU is automatically
restarted for activation.
You can also configure the network settings via iCube Engineer. For more
details, please refer to the corresponding online help.
The Date and Time page provides access to the NTP client configuration. NTP stands for
Network Time Protocol and is a standard described in RFC 958 for time synchronisation
in end devices connected via a network or the Internet. NTP is based on the connection-
less UDP protocol (port 123). For synchronisation, NTP relies on Coordinated Universal
Time (UTC), which is obtained from the individual clients and servers in a hierarchical
system.
All iC9200 Series CPUs use UTC0 as the default setting, which corre-
sponds to the coordinated world time UTC
± 00:00.
